I recently purchased a house (coming up on 2 years) and went to a local agent for coverage. They chose the company, the coverage etc as it is not my area of expertise. Shortly after I received an email from my agent with a list of repairs that needed to be fixed. I even had to make repairs on the house, before I even owned it otherwise they would not write a policy. Really? I replied that I was aware of all of that, it was all disclosed on my home inspection and I will tend to them when time and money provides. I paid 159,000$ for the house, it was a handyman special, a fixer upper, IT NEEDED WORK. My husband and I bought our home last year. I opened up my own home daycare business. They billed me a daycare liability insurance bill for $823 on September 20th!!!! That was due September 29th!!!
