Norman LaMarr - State Farm Insurance Agent

I have been insured with Norman for over 20 years. He and his office have gone over and beyond and have helped us navigate the insurance world. Even going so far as to sit with my children when they became of driving age to talk about safe driving. State Farm as a company has made changes over the years and Norman takes the time to review our declaration pages and any notices I’ve had questions about. When we have had claims it’s really nice to be able to talk to a person who knows you and can help navigate how the claims process works. Not many companies are like this any more. I would not say they are the are always the cheapest when first starting with them but I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for.

My son (19yrs old) a fairly new driver, received a ticket, and also had an accident trying to avoid a collision with another vehicle and hit the curb totaling his vehicle. He needed a new vehicle and insurance. Norman told my son and I 2 completely different stories, and denied telling us both the things we were told in 2 separate conversations we both had with him. Not only did he YELL at the both of us, he told me that because of my sons driving record that State Farm would no longer insure him, and we would need to find another company, he also called himself reprimanding both my son and I for his driving record. This really upset my son, and myself, I hung up and called the customer service number, and was advised that was not true and they provided us with coverage for the new vehicle
