NFP, an Aon company

Absolutely terrible insurance agent. You might as well go direct to one of the larger national insurers, because they will give you better service. I tried to add a vehicle, it took three phone calls to get someone to call me back (The phone number on my policy only went to a number that allowed me to leave a message). When I went to cancel the coverage, they could not have been more rude. In an industry that is driven by customer service, why would you put up with the abuse of a company like this with a terrible attitude.

I had the displeasure of working with Raquel Malave earlier this year. After getting in an accident I was told my policy would be cancelled, but I continued to be billed for several months after the issue had been resolved. I called for weeks in attempts to get in contact with Raquel, and every time she seemed to be at lunch or out of office. After roughly a month of trying to be refunded for the policy that should have been cancelled after my accident, I had to threaten small claims to finally get a response from Raquel. I would recommend nearly any other insurance agent.

By default we ended with NFP insurance after our agent left. The price of our insurance kept raising and the NFP agent was slow to response . He recommended change that would save us money but at the end minor savings on the house insurance was offset by increase cost of auto (despite being bundled). When I questioned him about his 'saving promise' he replied after several emails that Travelers increased costs again. He did not answer my request to research further options. When we decided to changed the insurance to a different agency and saved 25% of the premium he was passive aggressive and difficult. NOT recommended!

Serra & Del Vecchio Insurance has been a joy to work with. They handle my personal and business insurance. They are prompt to respond to any of my questions. When dealing with an insurance company it is crucial that your representative is responsive. The entire team at S&D is available to answer questions. Whether it has to do with payment or coverage, I have always received same day responses. They are a joy to work with and I will continue to refer them to family and friends.

We ended up with NFP Ins when our agent sold his business to them. When we received our renewals I asked agent, Rick Carrier if he would please see if he could get lower premiums. That was 3 weeks ago, still waiting.
