Nationwide Insurance: Houk Insurance Group LLC

Update 8-10-2023 - I spoke with Robert Houk and he helped me sort out the billing problems with Nationwide Insurance. I am a fan of Robert. Not much of a fan of Nationwide Insurance though. I sold my condo 5/5/2023 and needed to cancel my policy prior to the expiration date of 5/17/2023. Today I received a letter from a collection agency for delinquent payment. I called to understand the reason - Nationwide Insurance had charged me for a new policy even though I did not renew the policy. Got the run around until I talk to Robert.

Worst experience ever! Working with this business has been the most nightmare experience ever. When I first signed up for a policy, they did my paperwork incorrectly, which should have been a sign when I had to sign new paperwork. Afterwards, I had a policy which was supposed to be from February 2016 - February 2017. I was still billed in March of 2017. I tried to communicate with the gentleman who issued the policy, but his email kept bouncing, so I assume he no longer works for the company. After not being able to get in touch with rep, I called the main Nationwide number after being billed, once again for April of 2017. They sent me DocuSign paperwork to confirm the policy is cancelled. Once more, I was billed for this policy in May, June, July, and so forth, to the point where I actual

I've been with this company with Nationwide and now Travelers and DREAD having to call to get answers or things handled. Really need to look at who you employee and make sure they are knowledgeable. Will be moving my business.

They are never in the office and they never answer the phone, I definitely don't recommend them
