Mutual of Wausau Insurance Corporation

We have a farm home, they show up unannounced, nearly hit my livestock guardian dog. You need to AT LEAST call on your way.

After almost 15 years and not a single claim, they dropped us due to our furrbabies. Mind you, the furrbabies have resided there for 5 of the 15. And how did they do it, with a letter. 15 years, and you couldn't even muster up the common decency to pick up the phone. Again, 15 years and never a claim. Shame on you! So happy with the new company. At least they insuranced the house for full replacement rather than the quarter amount of replacement you would not raise it from.

Was a great company until the merger. No claims. Last year up 25%, just got a letter it's going up another 25%. Screw you. Multiple quotes from other companies have me at 500$+ less for the same coverage.

Walked around our rental home, and we had a claim for a different company, we had 2 insurance companies and our agent said he didn't know why he did that, we paid both companies and never got money back from mutual of wausau. Also the wind damaged the garage placed a claim with the other company, they came and paid right away. We were waiting for the contractor to fix it. Mutual of Wausau came and seen the damage and NEVER asked us about it. Why I do not know.

Been waiting almost 11 weeks for a decision regarding repairs from an accident. Have called numerous times with constant run around. They sent it for an assessment of repairs and when it was sent to the Car Star they said there's no way it was looked at properly as there were damages not even included in the assessment which was the steer column. NOT SURE HOW THEY MISSED THAT!! Still making a monthly car payment as well on a car I can't drive as well as insurance. Horrible company.
