Michigan Insurance

Wasted hours and hours of our time for a fire claim. Sends monthly emails saying "our investigation of coverage and liability is pending at this time." It's been a year and they can't seem to decide if they are responsible for a policy they wrote??

The absolute worst insurance company I’ve worked with. My rep filed false claims, never took my calls, never gave me COIs we needed, and I only heard from them when they wanted more money, the worst.

After having an unfortunate accident for the first and now the last time dealing with Michigan Insurance I was so disappointed. This is the first claim we have ever filed. The agent was not helpful, she called me to ask about my boat policy, we don’t own a boat I informed her. Next she didn’t like the photos the body shop took, so back to the body shop to see the pictures and then I told the body shop to take more. At least they paid for the body shop.

My insurance agent was beyond wonderful. Spent 2 years paying $700-$1000 a month for insurance and as soon as a I have a claim (which I wasn’t at fault for) they charge me a $500 deductible, and they deny the damages that happened to the truck. The inspector wants it sent to multiple shops because he doesn’t believe the one we sent it to, tells me I can have it towed and then the adjuster says they won’t cover it. Not to mention everything that needs to be replaced can’t be because they are only willing to pay a fraction of what it costs to be replaced. Stay far far away from this company.

I understand that finding quality insurance to suit anyone's needs may be a difficult task, so here is my honest review as a client that was very surprised at the coverage I had received. My agent Tim definitely did an outstanding job in helping me find coverage that suited my personal needs each time. I am very grateful, as accidents happen, and to survive more than once is a miracle in the very least.
