They fight me on any treatment I need. They dont believe me or my ortho when it comes to my injury. The process takes too long to get approved for treatment which prolongs me being out of work and causes mental strain on me depression ect. I have no say so when it comes to my health and what I know I need and the pain that I have like it's an inconvenience for them to take care of my injury let alone in a timely manner. They fought me on my neck injury even though I that was a concern of mine since day one which Is a reason my ortho sent me to my shot doctor as well. I give up on care and fighting for my neck injury because I dont feel like waiting forever to get the treatment I need. The online audit process is convenient and efficient. Working with Marlo makes the experience seamless. She is always available to answer my questions and responds promptly, which I truly appreciate.
The audit was seamless and easy to complete. The auditor was courteous and helpful in answering my questions. She was prompt in her responses and provided information as requested. The entire process was much less stressful than originally anticipated which was a relief.
My clams agent Marcia was very unprofessional and not knowledgeable of how the claims process works which is very concerning seeing how that is her job. Initially she emailed me someone elses claim and medical release information which seems like a fireable offense. When I was offered bogus light duty work she informed me that if I refuse the light duty work that workers Comp would continue to pay out for an additional 3 weeks. I did refuse the light duty work under her guidance and then the following day I received my final payment. I called with obvious concerns and she informed me that workers comp wiill only continue to pay for the additional 3 weeks if the injury was over 45 days old
They are bad at their jobs. They failed to approve treatment in a reasonable time. Treatment was "approved" far too late, treatment provided was inferior in quality as were the professionals I was required to use. If I refused to work with an approved doctor, I was told I would get no treatment at all. Service was actively hostile and working against me the whole time. On the rare occasion where I wasn't left in the dark and uninformed (which happened a majority of the time,) I was provided inaccurate or misinformation. Unknown if this was due to incompetence or intentional malice. "Unpleasant" as an option to review my experience feels like a slap in the face after how awful it's been to deal with MEMIC for 2+ years now.
