Melton Insurance, a CIIG Company

We already had insurance with Progressive and needed to find an agent in SC because we moved. Progressive gave me a list of agents that work with them in SC and I called Melton and spoke so Susan. At first they had no problem with being our agent. I called Progressive to move forward with the switch and when Progressive called the agent back they refused to service us. I feel we were becoming discriminated against for refusal of service. Horrible Customer Service. Why would you refuse to be a local agent to someone whom already had progressive. I would never recommend to use this agency.

This is the only insurance company that will cover manufactured homes that I could find around Fort Lawn. The staff went above and beyond for me during my refinance when my loan co. Wanted a new policy that no company in the USA would provide for a manufactured home. Thank You Melton Ins.

If you get hit by someone with this insurance, be prepared to never hear from anyone. My insurance and I both have been trying to get in contact with someone for over a month. We’ve even tried to talk to a manager and no one ever calls back. When you do get ahold of someone they are extremely rude and don’t help you, they just send you to another persons voicemail.

Everytime I asked the agent she would say call safeco... so you are here for what?! So helpful and honestly she wasn't rude she was just clueless.

I have been using this agency for over 10 years with excellent service from all, especially my agent Teresa.
