I’m writing this Google review of State Farm Insurance for their benefit. I am an 84 year old woman living in the country in upstate New York. I want you to know that this company has been a plus for me. Maureen LaRose Barber is the boss and has an incredibly friendly, able and well trained staff that has always “been there” for me. I am lucky to have chosen them for my Home & Auto Insurance at this time of my life and the price is OK since I can hardly buy food lately! I find that now when you call a business in this country for information the person that answers doesn’t usually have the correct answers. At State Farm they do! Diane Y. Santus Middleburgh, NY

Jessie was absolutely the best! She helped us get a good deal for Auto + Rental Insurance. Plus I love the fact that they have a digital device now that you can use to get discount based on how good of a driver you are. Highly recommend Jessie! :)

The reviews that I've read here seem made up--even the negative ones. At any rate, here's mine: I'd been a good customer of this office for the previous 17 years. However, earlier this year, I got a huge rate increase which seemed a little too high. And to top it off, I was treated rudely by Jessie, in spite of my having been a good customer of this agency for years (as has a relative of mine.) I reached out to Maureen with both an email and a voice mail in order to discuss the matter, but I got no response. So, long story short, I went with another company, which gave me a quote that was over $100 less than the last premium that I paid to State Farm--and for the same coverage (in doing research with an insurance broker, I was told that a lot of her customers had switched from State Farm t
