Priced out policies with four agencies during a home purchase process. While Leader was able to get me the least expensive deal, the communication process was definitely the worst. Weird email updates from an offshore team, agent calling and texting from multiple numbers, callbacks going to "not in service" numbers, agent crossing boundaries to ask for updates during a week of bereavement, etc. If you go with them, just be prepared to have to do more legwork and bear some lackluster client service.

I was having a fantastic experience with Leader Bank's mortgage department. As part of that process, they offer a small credit to use leader insurance. I figured why not, especially with the positive experience with the bank. Even if it's break even with other quotes, the credit would make up the difference, right? I went with Leader Insurance to save $200 on my mortgage application but they ended up costing me more than that through multiple mistakes they made. It was impossible to get ahold of my agents (plural because they changed multiple times? people suddenly “no longer with the company”??) via phone or email for weeks at a time, they didn’t respond to requests from my insurance company for information, and they couldn’t provide simple answers to pretty basic questions when I could speak to someone. Honestly pretty surprised at how badly this agency is run, and I’d recommend going with literally anyone else.
