Lane Insurance

Apparently it’s not their job to make sure you’re getting a good rate on auto insurance. Disappointing experience with this office. I’ve never had an accident and never gotten a speeding ticket and drive less than 5 miles a day. Found out I was paying $4,000 a year for car insurance through them (had payments set to auto-pay so I didn’t notice right away). Boy was I ticked off when I found out how much I was overpaying. I am such a dummy! Don’t bother with this place. They won’t save you any money.

I moved to DeLand in 2001 and needed home and auto insurance right away. A trusted resource recommended Lane Insurance. I met with Barney Lane and his team. Since then, I have found the level of service at Lane Insurance refreshing and something that I have not experienced in an insurance agency before. His team is always so cheerful, professional, and eager to help. Pricing is always spot on and at the minimum, matches any faceless online agency. You just can't go wrong with a team that lives in the market it serves. They care about the community, they care about me, and they will care about you.

When I started my first business in 1998 and needed commercial insurance, Doni Lennon helped me get exactly what I needed. She always explained everything and helped guide me every step of the way. Needless to say, almost two decades later she is still my agent and still gives me the same excellent service. The rest of the staff has always been great too. I love Lane-Lennon Insurance. They have me as a customer for life!!!

My homeowners policy has been with Lane Insurance for about 5 years, I first moved my business there while I was working as the office manager in DeLand and I have left my business with the group despite moving on to a new job because of the work I saw first hand during my time there. I truly believe they do what they can to stand by their clients and if I should ever the stressful event of needing to file a claim, I believe they would do what they could to make the process easy and provide advocacy if needed.

I feel very fortunate to have such an excellent insurance agency take care of all of my insurance needs. I have been a costumer since 2010 and have had the best customer service. They look out for their clients and treat everyone as a top priority. I highly recommend them.
