Bought a house and chose Lamb to write my homeowners policy. We purchased the policy successfully and closed on the home. Roofer said have a plan to replace roof within five years. Insurance did not inspect prior to issuing the policy. Five weeks later I get cancelled as a hurricane is approaching. I attempted to shop for new policies, and nobody would cover me until I replaced the roof. So, now that I already put all the cash I had down on the house, I got stuck going through a storm with no coverage and paying $14,000 out of pocket for a roof. Two months later they have the nerve to contact me and try to sell me another policy stating that they are limited in what they can offer me because of my lapse in coverage. Very helpful. The last time I needed to update my policy my normal agent was busy so Mr. Lamb himself saw me and found exactly the policy i wanted and needed within 15 minutes. He also found the best competitors and compared the policies and prices with me. Overall they are fast, polite and didn't try to up sell me on anything that I did not want.
