Kastl Insurance

We have used Kastl Insurance for several years now. Due to a few reasons, including our son getting his driver's license, general challenges with home insurance in Colorado, etc, this year led to a number of challenges in sorting out our coverage. The team at Kastl Insurance worked hard to help us through this including many conference calls and efforts to find sensible policies for us. I am happy to recommend Kastl Insurance. From the boss Shawn Kastl to the other agents and assistants people are responsive and helpful.

I've only recently starting working with Kastl insurance since they acquired the agency I previously worked with. I've been very impressed with Aaron. He has spent a lot of time getting to know me and understanding our insurance needs and budget. He takes notes and remembers details. He's patient and has answered all of my questions. Aaron has saved us a significant amount of money on multiple policies. Insurance companies are pulling out of many markets, so finding a comparable policy that costs the same or less than our current policy, is quite time consuming. Aaron is very impressive. He is professional, thorough, honest, reliable, good humored and very well informed. I highly recommend Kastl Insurance.

Bought from Kastl because we were told local would be better (by Shawn himself), but we really didn't receive service that was much different than a larger company. Our information was not correct each time our physical cards were sent to us, and even though we requested it to be fixed multiple times, it ultimately never was. The last two times we were sent insurance cards, my wife was not even included. We were moving anyways so it didn't matter, it's just disappointing that we weren't being treated like we mattered when it came time for them to correct their mistakes.

Started off great with a rate of $300, and great customer service. Then after a year, I traded in my car and asked for assistance from my agent, Aaron. I emailed him on Friday. On Tuesday, I followed up asking if there was any update. I got a rude and condescending email back stating he was doing “thousands” of clients and would get back to me soon. Finally, on Friday on the 31st at 5PM he tells me that my rate increased to $587 and my new policy starts the next day, 6/1 and there were zero options to lower my rate. Since he waited so long to get back to me, I was out of options to get insured in less than 24 hours. I found Advantage Auto/Welsh Insurance in Loveland who got me full coverage for $230. They stayed past closing on 5/31 to ensure I signed a policy and was covered for the nex
