On August 28th, I called the Olson agency because my father died and I needed insurance information to file my dad's 2016-2023 taxes for the IRS. I was told the agent needed to respond by email, so I sent a message. The following day the agent responded that it may be difficult given the nine year window. While somewhat understandable, we also live in the digital age where this information is often one click away. Regardless, I responded I needed anything with tax implications. Almost a week later, I get a response it will take another week. I'm sorry, but while I understand this included Labor Day weekend, it should not take two weeks to get this information. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Matthew Wu for everything he did in providing me home insurance . . . In fact, I was so impressed with his knowledge and sales skills, that I ended up adding car insurance, along with an "umbrella" policy too. This would not have happened, except for the fact that Matthew is a very personable gentleman, whom explained insurance technical terms and "jargon" in layman's terms that I could easily understand. Equally important, his policy estimates (I had 3 other quotes from other insurers) were not beatable. Stop! Read before you buy! I am an actual policy holder (820718370). I want to say that this experience from the beginning to the end was an absolute clown show. I had 2 vehicles to insure as only one was driven on a daily basis. I was quoted 153.00 per month for my car and 2.50 per day on my truck when I took it out of storage with Allstate. I was never told that there was a 44.00 monthly storage fee that was tacked onto the first bill. When I used the truck (1 day) and sent an email to my agent (Miles) to let him know I received an increase of 655.85 (see picture) because my agent did not take it off after the first day.
