Jennifer M. Johnson: Allstate Insurance

There's something extremely disheartening about how Jennifer handles business. Our rates skyrocketed this year. 50% increase I believe. We called to better understand the situation and see what we could do about lowering the price (we bundle two autos and our home). Jennifer said it is what it is. I've been with Allstate for 17 years. It's a great insurer. However, when we said we would need to consider switching insurances at this rate, Jennifer became very snarky and said she'd welcome us back when we eventually return, not thinking we'd find comparable coverage for less. We did. We found better coverage for $600 less per year and we ended our policy with Allstate. It sucks it had to be this way because switching insurances always leaves one feeling a little unsure. I have had Allstate insurance for over 15 years only to realize that our agent did not have our back this whole time. Thinking that 15 years of loyalty also buys honest representation is something we expected. We just changed insurance companies and are saving $6500 a year which includes Auto, Home and Umbrella coverage, and have added coverage. This is an outrageous discrepancy among insurance cost. Seek your insurance needs elsewhere. This company is literally highway robbery.
