I never write reviews but am making an exception HUB is SO bad. Had a similar experience to others, ghosting, no return phone calls, no customer service. So glad we never had a claim with them! I don't know how they stay in business. We finally switched to a completely different company and got the service we ought to expect.

HUB International Bothell insured the truck that damaged my car's windshield in November 2022. We had been providing them all the details including video of the accident, repair estimate, claim form, but HUB's claims manager (Jim Houston) was finding all kinds of excuses to delay this case, after we exchanged 50+ calls between Feb 2023 and December 2023. He always said it was one signature away in completing our case. And when we called him again in Jan 2024, he said he retired and no one took over our case. So rediculous and a waste of our time. The worst experience ever filing a claim. No sense this company remain in business. We still haven't got paid by HUB International and we've filed a complaint on BBB.

I've called 3 times in the past week. No response. Want a insurance certificate? The pre-recorded message tells you to fax the request. Fax?! What year is this?! Who has a fax machine anymore?! I love how the company responds to these reviews by telling people to call the same number that they refuse to answer!

Good luck getting ahold of anyone. I have been relentlessly calling for over 2 weeks and cannot get a single soul to call back. Had our water heater leak into our unit as well as 2 below us and haven't even been able to begin to file a claim! I have never in my life left a review of any business but this is absolutely ridiculous! I have my floors and drywall cut out but can't begin to start any repairs because I can't get the insurance company to call me back! I wouldn't even deal with it if this weren't the insurance of my HOA company.

[update] A new broker contacted us and provided decent customer service. Increased from 1 to 3 stars. Terrible office. Massive agent turnover (we have someone new every time we contact or are contacted), they never answer the phones, they don't return calls, they don't follow-up on claims and they take a year to follow-up with us regarding insurance company information requests. I highly recommend using a different independent broker; although finding good insurance brokers these days is tough.
