First made contact with Maggie Cuminskey. After explaining my situation (two claims with my previous insurance company resulting in non renewal) and confirming Howard & Gay Insurance does work with Connecticut Fairplan Maggie went ghost. When I initially spoke with her she did admitted that they (I assume insurance agents in general not her company) do not like working with CT fair plan but noted she would get back to me. After initial silence after emailing requested info I called and was told my emails were initially not seen and that she would be getting back to me but then radio silence for 2+ weeks (with me following up by email and phone). I would rather them have been honest and said “we don’t like working with CT fairplan so we won’t” as that seems to be the case
