We've had Horace Mann insurance starting with my parents. When I got old enough to drive I had Horace Mann insurance and now almost 46 years later I still have Horace Mann insurance as do all of my children. Our agent Chris Guymon and Sharon Sheffer have been just amazing to work with. I've always had excellent service and if they don't answer the phone I know I can leave a voice mail or an email and they will get back to me in a timely manner. They have always been there for support when we needed them. I have had Chris in my home several times going over our insurance needs. He's always been good about explaining what he would recommend and why. Never to just recommend a more expensive policy, but to be straight with what we really need. sometimes that's an answer to a car policy

My agent, Chris Guyman, was absolutely wonderful to work with. We had a lot of bumps in the road because of my age and the type of policy I wanted. Chris helped me, step-by-step in a most gracious and professional manner. He was kind, courteous, and professional in all of our may meetings. He made me feel like I was an important customer and never made me feel that I was a bother (although, I'm sure I was). I couldn't have ask for a better agent to help me through this process.

Recently had an accident that did substantial damage to my 2015 Nissan Frontier. Both my agent Chris Guymon and the Horace Mann adjuster helped settle my claim and cover all my needs. There were some problems on my end and both Chris and the other agent were first class and were great communicators. Happy to be with Horace Mann.

This isnt even my insurance company and they have been the ABSOLUTE worst to work with. The person who hit me has this insurance. The accident happened 2 weeks ago and I've had ZERO contact with these people. I've been without a car since. I've called 5 plus times left 2 voicemails and sent emails. NOTHING in return. We talked to someone who wasn't the agent on the claim and they gave us the wrong email for the claim rep as well. Communication is an absolute joke.
