This place is a SCAM! I have absolutely no idea how this place has 4.7 stars….it is a complete waste of time and incredibly unprofessional. The owner is not only trying to rip off working citizens but will give you attitude as she is trying to scam you. My husband went to transfer his out of state title and the OWNER attempted (and failed miserably) to scam us into paying her $2600 to register a car we have been financing since 2021. Regardless of us showing her the ACTUAL LAW, she would not budge and we were forced to restart the process at another title company. If you have purchased your car out of state and it’s been over 6 months, you don’t have to pay taxes on the car again, you ONLY have to pay a transfer fee of $200 to register the car. I visited Hoggard Insurance Tag Notary Agency to transfer my car title from NJ to PA and obtain PA tags. The total cost for these services was $357, which I found surprisingly high. When I respectfully asked for clarification, Ms. Patricia explained the fees, but when I asked her to break it down again, she raised her voice and spoke with noticeable attitude. I explained that I was not questioning her integrity, but simply trying to understand why the cost was so steep. She later apologized, but the exchange left me feeling dismissed as a paying customer. Additionally, I noticed my registration was issued from August 29, 2025 to July 31, 2026—11 months instead of a full year. Well were do I start, I have been doing business with Patricia Hoggard for years, both for car insurance and home owners. I had a issue with one of the insurance companies and called Patricia Hoggard informed her of my issues and she was on top of it quickly. Well my issues were resolved as quickly as it came. I called multiple notaries in the area and this one had the most reasonable prices. I can’t thank this women enough she came through for me when I needed it. I brought a car and needed to transfer the title and registration but the girl I was buying from was available the times this notary was closed but Patricia worked with me to get my car registered in my name and opened up on a closed day, wasn’t in the area either at the time.. She truly values her customers, I can’t thank her enough.
