HealthMarkets Insurance - Cynthia Gitts

My name is Ana, Cynthia has been my insurance agent for years. She was my agent, about 10 years ago, then my employer offered me benefits, so enrolled through them. I lost my job, and went back to Cynthia because of her caring heart for her clients, careful planning around of MY individual needs, and has always gone beyond the call of duty. I have read these other reviews, which are very inaccurate assessments of this experienced, knowledgeable agent. My thinking is, they most likely were very rude to her to begin with. Also, I noticed a couple of these reviews were from other agents. I do know enough about the industry to know it is against regulations to speak negatively of other agents. Did not request any kind of insurance phone call. Not only that I haven’t been on marketplace for over 3 years. I answered the phone with “please do not tell me this is another insurance phone call” After 15+ calls this morning alone. It may not have just been her or her company this morning but this woman was particularly rude. She Berated me as soon as I said that. First of all, you are calling my phone. Cold calls are not warmly accepted. If it were not for the fact have a child that is in school and I have to answer the phone for any unknown number I would not have answered this phone call. Rude and unprofessional EDIT: even more unprofessional texted me. See screenshots. Keep going, lady.

I received a call from a prospective client who told me how horrible her last agent was.. I found their application on the Marketplace and Cynthia Gitts was the agent on file. The client's personal information like DOB's and SSN's were incorrect. Cynthia told them NOT to update their information, and when they try to reach her she ends up blocking them. Described as the most unprofessional person they've ever worked with. She also signed them up for products that do not serve their needs. Clearly this is not a one time situation for this agent, this is how she treats people. From one agent to another, try to find your heart girl, and be respectable.

Cynthia is the most spiteful person, and needs to either work on their professionalism or find a new line of work. I don't think customer service includes berating someone in a text message then blocking them so they can not rebuttal, for hanging up on a call that was not meant to be answered. Imagine telling a customer that they're being rude & need to grow up when you pull that stint in a text then block. Take your own advice sweetheart, & grow up.

This woman needs to work on her customer service skills. When I told her I no longer interested she asked again what was going on. I told her I was not interested for a second time. She then dentvmexa nasty text back.
