Another great experience with HealthMarkets. I have a complex situation that requires my family members to be on several different plans. Melinda worked through all the different issues I had and constantly provided me with very good solutions to both cover my family effectively and save money. I can’t tell you how great she is at explaining insurance. She is also a nice person to deal with. She reaches out often and makes sure I’m on the right plans every few months and I couldn’t ask for any one better to help me with insurance issues. She is the best!

Absolute nightmare dealing with Healthmarkets insurance agency. Was emailed two options that were the complete wrong plans in the first place. Wasn’t accepted for my address: Caused two months of headache trying to figure out and barely received any help from Lisa. Spent 2 hours on the phone with Cigna last week alone trying to sort through. Just got a call from one of their plan specialists that informed me of the reason my plan hasn’t been active the last two months and why there was so much confusion. Additionally it wasn’t even an HSA plan as I was supposed to have had. Now I can’t even contribute for the full year. Massive massive headache. Do yourself a favor and just work directly through insurance, and avoid any help from a broker because you won’t get any.

My favorites! My family has been with HealthMarkets in Fairfax for over 20 years now. Their patience and help understanding all of the ins and outs of different health plans has saved us time and money more than once!
