Harlan Silversten - State Farm Insurance Agent

My husband was with State Farm his entire adult life. The prices continued to jump so we started shopping around. We found a plan with the same coverage that saved over $100 per month. The company sent the cancellation on our behalf however it was never processed so they ran another payment. I emailed the local office with the letter that backdated the cancellation to the 12/19, they processed it for 12/26. I emailed and called and was given a check for the cancellation date of 12/26. We had the initial letter sent into State Farm’s main office in November and again I sent it into December because they didn't cancel. I worked for an insurance company for years and I know for a fact you can backdate a cancellation if you had coverage else where . I was given the run around and the issue was

Have had auto, home, and life insurance through them for years. Can't beat the exceptional customer service and quick responses you receive from the team, but especially the office manager Christina. Very responsive to both emails and calls and make any account changes quickly. Highly recommend.

I recently received a request from my mortgage company for information about my insurance since they thought it was expiring in November.
