Hagerty Classic Car Insurance

Worst experience. I wish I had never moved my car from Progressive to them. It has been three days since we did this and I have been on the phone with them 9 times. They have taken the money but the policy is not showing up on my “account”. It says it needs to be linked but it won’t link. They keep telling me it is an IT issue. It worked for about half an hour and now it says my account doesn’t even exist. I redid it all and called for the 10th time. Neither the phone app nor the website on my computer show me as connected to my policy. So who knows if I am actually even insured. I am tired of calling Hagherty. If this firm can't handle the most basic account issues I don't know how they will handle an actual claim.

I have used hagertys for several of my classic vehicles my latest car has been a challenge dealing with hagertys, even though none of my information changed I just thought I would add the new vehicle online but when I tried it said to call to complete. It turns out that because both me and my wife are retired and we usually go to places together hagertys still thought we should have a vehicle a piece so the $450.00 online quote was worthless and the new quote was $760.00 because we only owned the 2 vehicles and they were concerned we might actually drive it. So upon cancellation I requested that my refund be sent out to me in the form of a Check, well the male representative screwed up and sent it back to a cancelled credit card that we had because of fraud , well guess who is out $300.0 n

Great experience. My auto insurer provided constant update messages and easy to understand information. The claim process was smooth and their representatives were very supportive
