Glacier Insurance Company

I had auto insurance with them for a few years and I was happy with the down payment and the monthly payments were really reasonable. Then for whatever reason, they canceled me. They never contacted me at all! I had no idea as my payments were on autopay. Now I am having problems getting insurance that I can afford!!

This is the worst insurance company to deal with. My car was hit by one of their policy holders and I am the one that gets screwed. First it started with getting a rental, they only covered so much. Then, they never sent out the payment to the body shop. They said they can only send it to me directly. My car has been finished at the shop but I can’t get it until it’s paid for. So now I have to wait around even longer for a check in the mail because they failed the send it on time. This is the cheapest, and most unprofessional company.

This company takes EXTREMELY long to process a claim and keeps finding ways to delay the payout. The supervisor even told me I said something completely different from what I told the adjuster — but he doesn’t even have the police file to be saying anything about what I supposedly said. Every time I ask questions, he gets frustrated, cuts me off, and avoids addressing their own mistakes on a recorded line. Then they turn around and give me an EUO like they don’t already have my black box information — which clearly didn’t contradict anything I told them, because if it did, they would’ve denied my claim on the spot. They’re now claiming I’m ‘uncooperative’ even though I’ve been cooperating since day one and have proof of it. Glacier Insurance is by far the slowest, most stressful company

I was rear-ended by a Glacier insured driver while stopped at a red light in December. This company is TERRIBLE to work with! They don’t return calls or pay claims. I would give zero stars if it was an option.

Glacier is amazing! If you want an insurance company who’s there when you need them with urgent real time responses from real people who actually care not to mention affordable prices Glacier is for you! (Ashlie in customer service is absolutely amazing)
