Geico Auto Insurance

Geico adjusters are lazy and never conduct a proper investigation, quickly deciding in their own favor/benefits. Such a greedy company. My family and I are loyal customers for years, and seeing my friend get an unfair adjustment is deeply disappointing. I’ll be switching to another insurer and warning everyone I know to stay away from Geico. They’ll blame everything on you just to recover money when the at-fault driver is uninsured. My friend is getting a lawyer to handle them and hopefully secure the compensation they deserve from this greedy business.

Cancelled my homeowners policy with 60 days notice after 5+ years of payments made on time by me and no claims ever with a form letter. Shame on you - Warren Buffett should be ashamed

Geico is awful, I’ve had this insurance for 10+ years and every year it just goes up. Loyal customer with no accidents and it just went up every year. I finally left. They took forever to answer the phone, they were rotten scam artists when you did get through. Policy was canceled and they still wanted to charge me a separate and unjustified $86 after that. Serious scam and theft company. Horrible insurance. (Not this Salinas location necessarily but Geico as an entity). You’ve literally taken thousands of dollars from me over the years “just in case” something happened. You were greedy and increased costs. We had Geico Auto Insurance from 2012-2024. They were great at first. They handled our car being totaled by a deer in 2017 well. However, they are constantly raising their rates to the point that we were paying more for Insurance than we pay for housing. When asked why it was always based on other drivers in our area; literally nothing we have control over. In July and August 2024 I was hospitalized and not working. On the day I was released I found a cancelation notice in my mailbox. I called to get the date of cancelation extended to give me time to pay it when I did get a check again. (Leas than 2 weeks). I was told that if I didn't pay that day my policy would be canceled. This was after more than 12 years with the company and never missing a payment. I got quotes from other compan

I was with Geico insurance for 18 years. They kept charging me more every year and when I finally decided to look for other insurance I found it for $250 less per month with better coverage. They have no loyalty to long-term customers..
