Florida Health Care Plans Corporate Office (Headquarters)

I'm not sure what's going on with Florida Healthcare Plans but after paying $1900 in premiums for the year, I'm surprised that they couldn't pay for 1 urgent care visit. Something is wrong. It's definitely going downhill. Great Insurance unless you need to use it! As a 9 year loyal customer, I am devastated with what's happening! I actually just canceled my plan because there's no point of this insurance anymore!

I went for a bone density test on 11/25 and was told I had a hip replacement. I told the technician I had a broken femur not a hip replacement. The technician didn't listen and documented my file with the hip replacement. FHC makes the mistake and I'm told I have to write a letter to Compliance to have the mistake corrected. Cant believe I'm leaving FHC after 10 years. They really have gone down hill. My cardiologist at 350 Clyde Morris told me he can no longer be my doctor as he was laid off effective 12/25. What is going on?????

The agent that enrolled me into this plan LIED about what was covered. Medication I need is being denied even though my doctors office has jumped through hoops to meet every requirement FHCP made. As soon as I’m able, I am dumping this plan. To advise me to get the medicine through other means, including a useless and expensive “discount” through the ruthless pharmaceutical company it’s disgusting and cruel. An insurance company should NEVER be able to deny coverage that a doctor deems necessary. FHCP WANTS THEIR CLIENTS TO REMAIN UNHEALTHY.

If I could give Florida healthcare plans zero stars I would. I have been a member for over 20 years. I was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and it has been a nightmare getting anything covered. Even basic services like physical therapy after surgery has been denied. Their customer service is atrocious and their technical team is a disaster. My healthcare portal is still showing my plan from last year and isn’t updated. This company is so unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I will be searching for new healthcare next year.

The Member's Engagement department is ran by someone who has helped in denying numerous patients for their Ozempic needed for their diabetes. This same person has then turned around and gotten Florida HealthCare to APPROVE the same medication for herself so she can use it for weight loss. This shows that Florida Health Care is ok with having an employee that disregards the needs and healthcare of their current members/patients as long as their own needs are met. SHAMEFUL!
