I didn't think I would ever really need to use this policy and have had this for about 8-9 years without needing it, but turns out that I did finally need it. I called and talked to a very experienced lawyer who brought great perspective to my situation and excellent guidance. It was fantastic to get a fast response and very reasonable and expert advice. The person doing the intake of info was very knowledgeable as well. I was very impressed and very happy that I have this policy.

Although I have been very fortunate to not need their services I have come to learn they offer the best protection. Nobody gets up in the morning thinking this is a great day to jam myself up on something I didn't think was an issue but it happens and Federal Employee Defense Services is there for you when you need them. Most importantly they are affordable.

I carried liability insurance in case someone sued me, because I am a federal regulator. I never thought I would need the coverage for protection with regard to a personnel action, but after 18 years of unblemished service, when I found it necessary to disobey an illegal order from my supervisor, FEDS was there for me. My case was unusual, so they could have wriggled out of helping me, but they didn't. They provided attorneys who are said to be the best, and I greatly appreciate it. My agency is treating its employees very poorly right now, and I know of people who regret they didn't have FEDS insurance when they needed it. I'm glad I did!

FEDS provides Defense Base Access Insurance, a requirement nowadays for contractors working overseas at military bases. While I disagree with the need for this coverage (if your company has the right workers comp to begin with), if you have to obtain DBA insurance, this is the right company to go to. Ms. Wilson and crew were very helpful, very professional, and got us the insurance package we needed at an affordable rate. I cannot recommend them enough.
