Farmers Insurance - Tyler Hathaway

Terrible service.... Do not use Farmers Insurance. I was with them for years and had great service, but in the past two years gone down to the worst company. Cancelled my home owners policy without notice for a "re-write". DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I have had a horrible experience and have tried to remove our son from our auto insurance policy for over a year as he lives out of state since 2024 and is married. They continue to not do it and I had to get the 1-800 number to fix it... There communication is the worst I have ever seen. I have spend hours getting this corrected, something that should have been easy to do. We have asked Tyler to call us several times and as of today we still have received no call from him. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!! I need to update he did finally call me back today!!!! I also failed to mention they continue to miss spell my name as well as send my information to incorrect email which I told them several times and again I had to call 800 number to get it fixed.....I sadly have to say they have lo

Tyler Hathaway may be the greatest insurance agent of all time. Tyler has not only been an agent, but a best friend and he's even going to be in my wedding! I love him!

I had no issues with Tyler. He set up my insurance, coming from 30 years at USAA. The rate was cheaper, but rose by 10% in a month or so. I left a message that if they continue to rise, I’d be gone. They rose by 80% in a year to a year and a half. I asked him to call or I’d need to cancel. Well, no call so I canceled. No problems with Tyler, he was very nice, just no communication which cost him my business. I’m back with USAA.

Do not deal with Tyler. He is the worst farmer agent. I left Allstate because a friend recommended this agency. The prices were indeed cheaper but in this case, you get what you pay for. Tyler incorrectly set up my policy from the beginning and it took two months to sort it out. Communication was almost non-existent. I called 3 times and left messages to call me back. He never returned my phone call. I had to call 1800 farmers and wait for an agent for 5 minutes then transferred to 360 departments and wait another 20 min. Finally, 360 Rep fixed all my Problems and add more discounts on my Auto.
