FAIR Plan Insurance of Pennsylvania

I'm giving a 1-star review because when I call with questions about my homeowner's insurance, the customer service representatives are very rude. They don't even say "good morning" when they answer, making it seem like I'm bothering them. I need to call them again, hoping for better service and more courtesy.

I looked at the reviews, I had a flood in my basement and before I could explain, they were already saying " we don't cover that " what are we supposed to do when we get denied. Do I have to call the Better Business Bureau ?

If you've been turned down for property insurance and think this is your last resort: DON"T turn to them! They are an "UNFAIR" company, not FAIR!!! They never sent us a letter expecting us to correct and fix things on our rental property, then expected us to have everything done in a very short amount of time. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing at this company. They WILL NOT work with you. We got away from them as fast as we could and got different insurance for our rental. There is always another avenue you can take. Do not take the path to them. I will report them as much as I can, so that other people do not go through what we have been through. As far as we are concerned, they should be shut down!!!

I email them a cancelation and they not only didn't cancel my account they sent me a bill to insure a house I don't own anymore since Feb 9 2022.
