I fully agree with other reviews that this business is a fraud. My family have spent months trying to get simple claims processed which we've had to pay for entirely out of pocket. They are consistently non-responsive, they refuse to escalate to their managers or resolve any of their processes. When you manually submit claims, they will hold onto them for months until you can get someone on a phone who will then say, "Oh, you didn't type into a field specifying that you need reimbursement for this claim". Why would anyone submit a claim if they didn't seek reimbursement??? The providers we haven't paid out of pocket, are going through similar pains in trying to get EDIS to process their payments. DON'T USE EDIS!

This company engages in fraudelent business practices. The service that they're selling, and claims processing times are designed to harm your employees and tie your staff's money up for months at a time. The sales representative told us claims would be processed in 3-5 business days. The reality if the situation is that the processing time is 5-6 weeks. Multiple staff have had their partners misgensered, and requests to update to the correct gender have gone ignored for two months and counting. 100% of claims for reimbursement of insurance premiums for families have been processed incorrectly so far.

Fantastic company that is very easy to reach. Robin has been extremely helpful with all of my questions and has gotten me quick and thorough responses. The benefits are also very helpful and has allowed me to access medical care that I otherwise couldn't afford.

My employer used this awful company. I guess they were trying to save money. EDIS denied my emergency room claim because EDIS deemed the visit as “non-emergency”. I’m a college educated high level executive with 12 yrs in pharmaceuticals. I’m pretty sure I know when to go to the emergency room. This is such a bad practice I can’t even begin to elaborate on why…. Okay, I can.. Due to this experience I may hesitate to go to the ER with chest pain. After all, it could be inter gestion and I might be judged “non-emergency”. Absolutely pathetic, YOU ARE GOING TO KILL SOMEONE!!! Run from this insurance as fast as you can. BEG your employer not to use them. You could literally save lives.

Shawn was very helpful and respectful he found the lowest and most affordable rate I can ever ask for, he was very detailed about rates and about insurance in general… we need more representatives like this
