I had usaa home owners insurance. The new premium went up again and was now going to be $4000 per year and I decided to shop around. Don looked at my current policy and told me he could get me insured for the exact same coverage for $2500. Sold I said, I have not seen a $2500 premium for years. Then he told me that we could probably save some more money if we get a wind mitigation done i said ok (cost less than $100). The new quote with the wind study dropped the premium to $1800! i did talk to USAA and they said with the wind study they could drop it from $4000 to $3300. obviously I choose the $1800 price tag. Thanks for saving me $2200 per year, $184 per month! Hank Mullen
