Diligent Insurance Group Inc

Diligent insurance has been absolutely awful to work with these last few weeks which I hate writing a bad review but this place has been a pain in our side after our mother’s death. I personally referred my mom and dad to them because Katherine was so amazing to work with… we have been dealing with the guy in the office and the other lady. So my mom passed away VERY unexpectedly May 7th, i personally was handling all her finance stuff because this of course hit her husband my dad VERY hard. I completely forgot to call the insurance until they with drawn close to $400 out of my moms bank account then I called to let them know hey my mom passed away May 7th and that money you just pulled we were using that to pay for her lot rent since our family had to come out of pocket for her funeral. F

3 years ago this place was amazing but idk what's going on lately, calls go unanswered and when you do get a call back it takes days. I don't know how long we'll continue business here. When I call that's because I have a need to modify one of my policies so it's kinda urgent, I don't have days to wait.

I was hesitate to buy insurance from Erie because I had never heard of them. But after dealing with another company I was ready for a move. We've been with Diligent for several years now and unfortunately we've had two claims. I can say it has been a positive experience both times. Kathryn and Kevin have helped us along the way and have both knowledge and experience. Pricing is also a big plus. Thanks Erie for standing behind your customers!

Great insurance at an awesome price. I was with Geico paying 156 a month for liability only on two vehicles. I switched to Diligent and Kevin and Kathryn got me a new policy with full coverage on our new car and liability on my old Jeep for less than I was paying before. Would recommend them to anyone.

Our agent is Kathryn Melton and I must say when Kathryn first knocked on our door to discuss her product back in the summer I thought she was just another agent. She is so much more. She knows the product she sells inside and out and she stands by it. We received a great product, the same coverage as we previously carried, a great agent and for less $$$ annually than with our former insurance group(s). While traveling to Florida, we were the victims of a hit and run. No personal injuries but $2K plus damage to our new vehicle. The experience was extremely frustrating but a call to Kathryn was placed and she paved the way. We had a rental and our vehicle repaired
