Delta Dental Plan of Ca

I have been waiting for reimbursement checks. They continue to state that they have the correct address and are mailing it out. Their employees refuse to listen to the year long synopsis of what has been happening and refuse to take any accountability or ownership of getting a resolution. I now have not received explanation of benefits from the service past a year and not able to submitt to secondary insurance for reimbursement of the out of pocket expense. Zero Stars DO NOT RECOMMEND. Out several hundreds of dollars.

I enrolled in Delta Denta, after learning that there are 57 dentist offices in the Reno/Sparks area. Now that I'm on the hook, I learn that the 57 are mostly duplicates - Just 5 offices to choose from and all of the dentist office have horrible ratings. I'm thinking I should have continued paying cash at my existing dentist.

Keep an eye out for criminal behavior from their billing system. They try and charge you for 2 months at a time, making it difficult to understand that you only have to pay for one month at a time. If you happen to get a job and no longer need their insurance, they are banking on the fact that you are not going to call them to refund one of the two months. Do not fall for this and only pay for one month at a time if you are buying them through covered California via the "OTHER Pay option" and only put in 1/2 the amount due.

HMO’s have HUGE HIDDEN UPCHARGES. Your booklet is voided of the (**) upcharges the dentists booklet has these upcharges dentists do not have any cap on the upcharges WORST INSURANCE EVER

Don’t make any dental plans with these guys unless you want all your personal data to be hacked including social and health insurance info thanks for having a horrible security system for all your customers!
