Debra Hensley - State Farm Insurance Agent

I've been with State Farm for many years while living in various states. While every office has been great, Debra Hensley's is more special than most. Several weeks ago I visited the office in person. The receptionist was fantastic. I didn't catch her name but she was very welcoming as she offered water and socks (leftover from the holidays!) while I waited for her to print off a new insurance card. Most recently, I needed to update my auto policy for a new vehicle and Emily made sure everything was updated as soon as possible and shared with me immediately after our phone call. Mind you, Emily has to call me several times since I don't have great service in my work office. It means so much when folks go out of their way to make sure you have coverage, which might appear trivial to some. N

I’ve worked with several auto insurance agencies, and most treat you like a policy number. Debra Hensley’s agency is the opposite. Their team is responsive and genuinely helpful. Marilee deserves special recognition. On multiple occasions, she resolved policy-related technical issues within 24 hours. This is the best auto insurance agency I’ve worked with.

I have been off and on with Debra Hensley’s office for 23 years, and when our homeowners insurance was going up AGAIN ($1000 over the past 2 years despite zero claims) I called Debra’s office again. Mark answered the call, and is saving us not only the $1000 on homeowners, but $100/month on auto, even with 2 teenage drivers. Mark has been extremely helpful in getting everything switched over and I regret ever leaving (again!) to begin with! State Farm truly is the gold standard for insurance needs.

The final day of State Farm is on the end for us. After years of most likely over paying but never had the issue of doubts with coverage. Today after several weeks of being patient we were told our camper would not be covered for normal wear and tear but each agent stated the damages from any defective equipment was covered . Couldn’t he an estimate from anyone locally hired a contractor 3hous away and asked if we would not be home he would make sure to do a great job. After he left he didn’t even have knowledge of the inspection he was arriving for. Very disappointed and unprofessional. Don’t get caught sleeping shop around apparently we are worth the time.

Debra has covered all my insurance needs for almost 40 years. Her office staff gives outstanding customer service. A special shout out for Emily today for exceptional assistance.
