The salesman we used at Cross Private Client Insurance was not looking out for the homeowner. The quote given was a bit high but the coverage appeared to be nothing better than adequate. Then one month following closing, the cost increased by $450 for the year due the security system not meeting their standard requirement. In order to keep the premium consistent, the deductible was increased from $1000 to $5000. Then when we were on vacation-out of the country, a notification email was received of cancellation. The issue was resolved and insurance was reinstated upon return to the States but following unnecessary stress. Too many underhanded actions.
