Colorado Farm Bureau Insurance

Farm Bureau offers the best insurance pricing and coverage! When we moved to Colorado 3.5 years ago we price checked many vehicle insurance options and Farm Bureau was the best by a long shot. We have since added home insurance to our policy and they continue to provide excellent coverage at great rates. We have referrred many people to farm bureau and they’ve all been happy with what they’ve found! Chris Freeling and his office are friendly, competent and easy to work with. 10/10 recommend!

Whenever we have insurance related questions, Chris Freehling and his friendly staff would take the time to discuss all options and recommend the best solutions. They are responsive and provide requested documents in a timely fashion. They are ethical folks who are very competent and thanks to their great knowledge and expertise have saved us considerable amounts of money.

We cancelled our policies with Farm Bureau after a disagreement with the agent, Dave Deshon, over car insurance quotes. We signed a cancellation letter at his office on June 12th. Today, 7/6, we received a bill from Farm Bureau that our account is scheduled to have an automatic withdrawal on 7/8. Turns out the Denver office never received the cancellation notice. Called Deshon's office at 4 pm, no one ever called back. Hopefully between us and the Denver rep, we can get this fixed before Farm Bureau's auto withdrawal process on 7/8. Beyond unprofessional. Deshon''s office didn't just drop the ball, they kicked it into the weeds.

I am in disbelief with the Customer Service provided by Farm Bureau. I am very disappointed with their protocol when dealing with grieving families trying to cancel their deceased family members policy. I have spoke with several representatives and have been told every time that a Power of Attorney, DEATH CERTIFICATE, Signed cancellation from the deceased's son is still not adequate documentation to stop them from pulling money out of the deceased's account. As an Insurance Agent I could never image making a family jump through these hoops after an unexpected death.
