Colonial Life needs to step into the digital age. Business today is conducted via emailed documents and forms. They stated that they could not email a copy of my policy and it would have to be mailed after a 5 business day processing period and then a 10 business day period to receive it via postal mail. Why? It's just a copy of my policy. Customer service seems not to care and are basically useless. Google needs to allow reviews with no stars or negative stars.

The amount of coverage you get is a joke unless you spend 20x the amount. Most reviews are horrible. How does Jonathan sleep at night.

Company has horrible customer service. I canceled my life policy because I found a better option. After all the forms were signed and I received an email showing the final agreement to cancel, they charged me again. When I asked about this, their (in another country) customer service agent wasted my time with useless information and claimed they charged me because they take up to 10 DAYS to process. Even though I ALREADY got the final agreement 5 days prior showing they had accepted it. I got the run around and when I asked about a speaking to a supervisor, I was told they weren't available. This company does not value you or your time as a client.

Horrible customer service. I’ve been with this company for years and the customer service has not changed. Currently looking for a new company!

Would give them a -1 star if I could. Paramedic wife paid on this policy for years, had a home ankle injury that eventually needed total replacement and they've denied twice. No one to speak to and if you get someone they are rude and give no explanation. They got us...be careful. Paying money for nothing. Contacting the State and possibly the Federal level concerning this company and their practices.
