Christopher Thom: Allstate Insurance

When your life insurance, auto insurance and home insurance company feels like a part of your family! That's a good thing. Great team, great customer service.

I emailed my agent on February 18 and it’s now February 26 with no reply back. When you call the office it goes through all of this automated then on home for 15+ minutes. Not very good customer service if you ask me.

Fortunately, I have not had to file insurance claims in some time. I am 78 years old, and have been insured with Allstate since the age of 14. I have been a client of the Christopher Thom agency for many years and feel that I can chat personally with Christopher and his staff when I have a question or need advice/information about insurance issues.

I am seriously disappointed with the lack of responsiveness from my agent. Where is he? Should I change agents? Should I change companies?

I am deeply disappointed with this Allstate office. I have been a policy holder for 20+ years. Up until the past year I have never filed a claim. A blown tire on 1 of my vehicles added an extra $100 per month to my monthly payment. Then in the following 6 months my policy jumped another $100 per month. Just renewed again only to discover it jumped $150 per month and the 1st 2 payments were taken out of my account close to $2000. I have tried calling numerous times only to get sent to an operator in south Africa. I called to let Thoms office know that my husband had passed away and I needed to remove his name from the policy. I was informed that because he passed away my insurance would go up another $300. ???. I am actively looking for new insurance.
