Very, very disappointed with this local company. My wife and I have had Travelers Insurance for our primary residence through Chastain & Associates for 17 years with no claims. We recently received a letter from Travelers stating that our policy would not be renewed because we didn’t respond to their update requests in time. This came as a complete shock to us. It took over a week to get our agent/rep on the phone. When we finally did, she stated that they sent one email about the house back in April. One email! You’d think that a local company would at least send a letter or try to reach you on the phone when they hadn’t heard back in a reasonable amount of time but no, nothing. I was looking for small business insurance options,and made the right choice by calling Chastain & Associates. They answered all my questions and had a quote for me in a very short time ( much better rates than my old carrier) Trey contacted me throughout setting up the quote and got the exact coverage I needed.

Initially left a voice mail for Trey which was quickly returned. He worked with us to get all of the information that the underwriter needed which resulted in a much better coverage for our non-profit entity at a lower price than we had been quoted with our existing carrier.

We approached this company to explore options for auto, homeowners, and commercial liability coverage. Unfortunately, their service was dismissive and unprofessional from the start. Rather than having a conversation to understand our situation, they jumped to false assumptions about why we were switching insurers and never even provided us with a proper quote. Their representative, Trey, communicated in a rushed and careless manner, ignoring key details we shared and ultimately deciding for us that they couldn’t compete — without any real discussion or effort. This lack of basic customer service made it clear they were not interested in earning our business or helping us protect our property. Trey and his associates have been the best agency I have used over 30 years! Trey is always responsive and easy when I request adjustments to our coverage. Specifically, our workman's compensation insurance has been painful with other agencies, but Trey and his associates have been a pleasure!
