Along with another reviewer, this was company was attached to my NFM bill something I never ever would have signed up for. Impossible to get ahold of. Put you on hold for 2 minutes then hangs up, called NFM they got me transfer to a direct line and voicemail. Cool I'll leave a voicemail and get a call back, HAH! Voicemail box is full hangs up. BIGGEST SCAM and FRAUD company insurance out there. DO NOT USE. DO NOT PASS GO OR THEY WILL COLLECT $200 (+)

Not a scam. This is a Berkshire Hathaway company. I save a lot of money on my Medicare supplement plan by switching to CSI. They do not bombard me with wasteful mailings & advertising. They provide the coverage they agreed to as determined by Medicare.

I just found out that after paying into Central States Indemity Co of Omaha insurance I am unable to receive any funds. My husband died in 2015. I received notice from Wells Fargo earlier this year, 2017, that my "optional product" would not be paid for through my mortgage. When I called to find out what the "optional product" was I was told the "death insurance". I explained that my husband had died and I filed the claim. I received the payment a month or 2 later but I cannot deposit it because it is made out to the "estate of". There is no estate. Now its been 2 years and the only thing open with both our names is the mortgage account. I called CSI and asked what should I do. They said find someone to cash it. I then asked what would happen if I returned the check to them. I w

RUN, Do Not Walk, RUN from this company. If you feel a need to part with your money, please consider donating it to a worthy charity, or at least simply toss it our your car window, knowing that it will bring joy to someone's day. Do NOT give this company your money. after eight years of $22 /mo premiums, my claim was summarily denied, obfuscated, made excuses over, found 'invisible clauses' in the original (and updated) terms, which "clearly state" that the claim will only be processed if the following....etc etc. Denied, denied denied. The claims process is designed to be unnavigable, incomprehensible and even if you arrive at the true meaning of a paragraph, they can change it at will by quoting "changes to the policy" that were never announced. This company is charging me a fee every credit card statement without my permission. US bank can do nothing, and this company won't respond. They are literally stealing my money every month. I have never and will never give my consent for them to charge me a "credit insurance fee" This has been going on for 4 years now. With multiple calls and letters to stop charging my fee. This company is a fraud and should be prosecuted.
