Central Cooperative Insurance

Been a customer for 12 years without a single claim and never even late on a payment. Get a letter stating my policy will not be renewed due to deteriorated shingles on my home. My roof don't leak, don't have any claims and the roof is in the exact same condition when they insured me. Horrible customer service and had a new insurance company 15 minutes after getting this letter. Lots of better companies with good customer service. Also, if they would have called me I would have told them my roof was being replaced a week after that unprofessional letter. Figure I'd attach the photo with the new roof 2 weeks later and not even give them one star but you have to.

I would have given a zeo rating if there was a option. After paying this company for probably 19 years they let me down big time. After coming home and realizing my property was vandalized I made a couple police reports and contacted Central Coopetative insurance to take care of the situation. They sent over a independent adjustor Dave Quicken. The inspection process went smoothly until I was informed Central Cooperative insurance company would only pay on the least of the damage. Roof cut in numereos places,Vynal cornerpost ruined, garage door damaged by a kick and my shed was damaged as well. So Mr. Quicken and his expertise came to the conclusion the roofers 10 years ago sliced up my roof. They will cover 2 garage door panels the corner post and shed damage. I am a roofer by trade. I k

Customer service is top shelf. Never have to wait for an answer to any questions. Highly recommend.

An ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY! My first claim is for a burst pipe causing water damage in my lower kitchen. Lower cabinets, flooring, refrigerator and other minor damage. They refuse to replace the cabinets so they match. They want to rip off the old countertops and re-use them. Refrigerator not covered. And the flooring which was very expensive to carry throughout the whole area, they want to cut out the wet area and put in thresholds in three separate places. DO NOT use this company, and if you have no other choice, read the policy word for word because there are so many exclusions that when you think you are covered, you have little to no protection at all. On the upside, the adjuster was fine and my agent, an independent, has always been fantastic!

Be careful with this company. A few years ago a vehicle hit by house and took out my front porch. I called my agent who immediately sent over a claims adjuster. They asked for 2 quotes for the repair which I provided. Central Coop refused both quotes and i never heard from them again. I contacted my agent who then contacted the company covering the vehicle that hit my house. This company came within a week and I had my check within 2 weeks. I finally heard from the Central Coop in December asking if we got this resolved. The accident was in July. They never returned a single phone call I made to them. There appears to be no structure and they don't seem to care about your claim, only taking your money.
