Catholic Life Insurance

I had 5 Certificates that were coming to Term/Maturity on December 6th and worked the paperwork several weeks in advance to have those IRA Certificates to a Federal Credit Union as soon as possible after the Term/Maturity date so that I would not lose interest money while in transit. Catholic Life did not process the checks for mailing until December 13th! It should not take two weeks. Today is December 22nd and the Federal Credit Union has not yet received the checks from Catholic Life. Totally unacceptable that it takes 3 or more weeks to have funds transferred. Other Banks and Credit Unions can transfer funds the next day after a Certificate matures.

My medicare supplement policy has increased in price 2 or 3 times without prior notification. When I attempt to call to talk to someone about why that is and why my policy has not been charged in 2 months now, I get press this and press that and no one ever answers. I just need to talk to somebody, anybody, about what is going on. I rate your customer service low because it is rude to not answer a phone call after someone is on hold far longer than is necessary. I would still like to know what is going on with the my policy. Ruth Rivera

These people are insurance agents first. I had to go for clarification on a policy. The agent who met with me was inconvenienced and unsympathetic. It didn't matter that I just lost a family member, still my responsibility to understand all the details and know Catholic Life process. Further, their phone operators are cold and uncaring. They will not put you through to an agent until you tell half your life story to them. I don't know what my family member ever saw in this organization.

Dealing with Catholic life on two annuities bought for my daughters. I have all the original documents but they can’t seem to find any records of the policies. In the reviews I have read technology does not appear to be a concept that they have adopted. Not sure if these clowns are crooked or incompetent, but neither one is not someone you want to entrust with your financial future.

It's amazing that Catholic Life Insurance is so far behind in technology. They don't accept on-line payments for policies and even when trying to set up auto draft they cant get this right. It is amazing that a company as large as this is still using such neanderthal methods considering where technology is today. I'm amazed the millennial generation would do business with a company so far behind in technology.
