Country Financial insurance was recommended to us when we were closing on our home in July of this year. Their representative came to our home, took photos both inside and outside and informed us that our wood burning stove did not meet Country Financials safety standards and that in order to maintain our policy, we would have to have the stove removed, but they would give us sixty days in order to do so. This was a reasonable request and time frame so we agreed. Two weeks after we moved into the home, we received a letter from Country Financial stating that as of August 17, 2025 our policy would be canceled due to the wood burning stove not being removed.
