Blue Cross & Blue Shield of MT

One of the most incompetent insurance companies out there. On hold for hours with people that don't know what they're doing transferring you to other people who have no idea what they're doing. Absolute nightmare of a scam. Delete your information you thought had been processed previously to find out it had not, hang up on you. Highly unprofessional.

This is the worst-run insurance company I've ever dealt with. After two years, emails, FedExing of forms and dozens of phone calls they are still unable to coordinate my son's benefits with our other insurance re a surgery he had TWO YEARS ago. My husband had Minnesota BC/BS for 20 years, and not one issue in all that time. It's probably time to start complaining to the Montana Insurance Commission.

Currently in second round of trying to find out if my application for my wife's insurance is on file as accepted/rejected or complete. No reason it would not be accepted. I have app number and policy plan number and have given the info for auto withdrawal. No one at Market Place has any idea why the policy is pending. BCBS can not find the policy. About four hours on the phone so far. All calls go through a national call center rather than a Mt call center that then forwards to the Market Place call center where you restart giving all information. If this is not soon resolved I will buy a policy through a different company. Hopefully one that can resolve local questions with local reps....or resolve them at all. PS have resubmitted my auto withdrawal info to Market Place and they say the

i had BCBS of Montana . their premiums went up quite a bit and cancelled the silver sneakers. so i changed heath insurance. i was on auto draft to pay the monthly premium. like i said i cancelled them. they took another draw. will take 6 to 8 weeks to get my money back. thieves. be careful of them.

Couldn't get any help- had to fax birth certificates for my minor children to prove I was their parent and they still wouldn't talk to me. Left BCBS, went to a different insurance co.
