Ammerman Insurance

Called Ammerman Insurance mainly because of the reviews. Spoke with Vinnie who asked a number of questions to cover what needed to be covered. I didn’t realize he was doing this on his own time as he was getting off right when I called. When I hung up, our daughter who had been listening (an insurance loss control rep for more than 25 years) told me “you better hire this guy, he is the real deal”. We did! Update: Met with Vinnie yesterday to finalize our home owners policy. The Ammermann Agency is a “breath of fresh air” in the insurance industry especially in today’s way of conducting business.

The beauty of working with an independent agent is their ability to find you the best insurance for the least amount of money. I use Ammerman for my house, truck and motorcycle insurance needs. Marsha and her crew are willing to go the extra mile to find you exactly what you need insurance-wise. I have had this agency for 10+ years, never filed a claim or had any contact with them what so ever until recently. The contact came in the form of a letter indicated that my insurance company (Tower Hill) was reducing their exposure in Florida and would not be renewing my policy. This is not the fault of Ammerman but they gave me very short notice. After providing them (Ammerman) with a substantial amount of information, they informed me (again by letter) that they couldn’t find another insurance company that would provide me coverage because my roof was too old. They made no effort to work with me and between the lines told me to get lost. I have talked to several neighbors with similar experiences with Ammerman, thus me reason for my poor rating for them.
