Amica Mutual Insurance Company

I know people are more inclined to review when bad things happen. I am that way too usually. However, we have Amica (and have for more than 10 years) and they have always done well for us. We forgot/didn't realize we could claim something and they let us 6 months after the fact. They called after we moved to let us know our new location meant lower rates. They refunded us because we sold our house and we didn't realize we didn't call them but they called to let us know we needed a refund. All of these moves were super positive and why we stayed even though we know it is a tad more expensive (just a little bit-maybe $50 more a year than something like statefarm) but that little bit more is so worth the peace of mind. Then, just before Christmas, our truck was murdered by a very large tree.

Part of my roof blew off sometime in the last 24 hours and my house began leaking. After I scrambled to get a tarp on I called AMICA to seek relief. I was connected with Pamela Smith who absolutely made my day. She was polite, professional and super eager to get me calmed down and taken care of. I sincerely appreciate this kind of customer service, please give this woman a raise immediately!

Very disappointing. After receiving a solicitation letter with a special customer code for a Homeowners Insurance quote, I call their number with the special code, and after giving all information requested, including personal info such as birth dates, etc., The representative informs me they do not write insurance in my city. What a waste of time. But I am glad to discover this company is totally incompetent before I purchased a policy from them. Don't send letters promising a special insurance quote offering when you have no intention of providing insurance. What a waste of time.

Frustrating!! My son was hit by a driver with this insurance, said driver lied about the accident, claimed it was a hit and run and we have presented all the information and evidence (pictures and witnesses) of a small claim. 8 weeks later still fighting to get repairs that are clearly the responsibility of this company. 100% will never use.

They don't care if there person that is innsured through them that cause the accident don't give there innsurence info and just leaves and then my innsurence agent has to track him down just for the guy to say his name and he has amika insurance and hang up on my agent.
