After paying my premium for nearly 10 years, I recently went out on medical leave with a filed disability claim. Following my 30-day wait period, on day 60 I received my next, and what would be my only, full disability benefit; a letter accompanied the payment, informing me my remaining monthly benefits were being reduced 97% to a mere $50 per month.
