Ambetter Health Insurance

They canceled my wife and daughter after I paid the premiums ON TIME. I paid again and they say I owe them over $1200 and they can’t explain how or why. It’s extortion to get me to pay them money I don’t owe. How this company is allowed to exist I will never understand. I spent 5 hours on the phone with them and marketplace trying to figure it out until Ambetter hung up the phone after they refused to accept my payment after it was already paid. I’m at a loss

They would be happy to see you die on the street to save a penny called 38 different doctors they gave me not one works for them. Drove to a medical center to try and getbone the place was in a sketchy strip mall and was literally empty. They should lose their license of operation.

Went from $11 a month to $83 and when I asked someone why they said "cause it did" and I was like its kind of out of my price range, he said okay. I need to cancel it and everytime I hit 0 like it says on the call IT HANGS UP. How do I cancel it 😭 help

If I could give 0 star I would, they raised my monthly payment from $36 to $384 , when I called to cancel they told me call marketplace then call us back , that's what I did , I ve never seen that money back . I just gave up and called again just to cancel to avoid the next month charge , scammers

Worst decision I made was going with this company to save a few bucks over Florida Blue. Tore ACL in knee and need an MRI. They state 15 business days in order to review a prior authorization that was ordered by a PCP in their network and sent to a lab in their network. Whats to review? Call customer service and lucky to get someone that speaks English and then they transfer you to a 3rd party company that reads a script saying everything is being reviewed. So its great insurance as long as you dont need it. Can't wait until January 1 to go back to Florida Blue.
