Alamance Farmers' Mutual Insurance Company

Stay away from this Company, dropped our coverage because they don’t understand how a Mitsubishi furnace works and left us scrambling for new coverage 3 days before our policy ran out. They don’t care about their customers at all, just want to collect their premiums

I had a good experience with this Company, even if they didn't cover all the damage done by the hail storm. They explained what they would cover, made sure I understand why and it was done professional. I appreciate the way it was all handled from the adjuster to the person I talked with on the phone.

Our neighborhood was hit by several severe wind/thunder storms over the past several months which caused damage to our shingles. Several neighbors, “7”to be exact had their roofs replaced with little to no trouble from their insurance company. Most had less damage than my home. After several claims “3” one of which I did receive a check which would not even cover the repair of the damage. I was told my wind and hail policy would be terminated in 30 days. In my opinion this is just another company that doesn’t care about its customers. Brightway Insurance was sold to me through Alamance Farmers Mutual insurance Company.

If I could have given a minus 5 stars I would have. We paid faithfully for years but when we had a claim Alamance did not help in any way. We had an issue with our roof. BEWARE - if you use the wrong terminology when you file a claim you are doomed to be denied. We got no help from our insurance agent. Fought this out for over 6 months. Sorry, little guy looses and Big Insurance guy wins. Buyer Beware!!!!

Great company I had damage to my home from hurricane Helene Called Don Jones claim manager He could not have been nicer and was concerned about taking care of me And adjuster (Jay Crisp)was sent out and I was very pleased with his estimate And again he was truly concerned about helping me get the house fixed In closing the review These are great people who truly have a concern to treat people right and help them when damage occurs Pastor Gary Greene
