I was given documents to sign without clear explanation that the policy would be backdated several months, which significantly impacted the cost. When I asked for clarification on the premium amount, it took weeks and multiple follow-ups to get a response. Transparency and timely communication are essential in financial matters, especially in insurance. An agent has an ethical duty to ensure clients fully understand what they’re signing and how it affects them financially. Unfortunately, that level of professionalism and responsiveness wasn’t shown here.
